Washington Huskies football coach Chris Petersen doesn’t want you to pay attention to the atrocious statistics

The Huskies are 26.5-point favorites against an Oregon State (1-3, 0-1) program that is reeling in its third season under coach Gary Andersen. He doesn’t care that Oregon State ranks last in the Pac-12 in 12 different categories — half coming on defense. he Beavers lost starting quarterback Jake Luton, a Marysville-Pilchuck High graduate scary thoracic spine fracture earlier this month, and they have the worst defense of any Power Five Conference program, allowing 47.5 points per game. He rolls his eyes at the fact that the Beavers are one of the 15 worst in the country in total defense (485.5 yards), scoring defense (47.5 points)
